Masuwaka released her first song, "Magic to Love", on the compilation album Gazen Parapara!! presents Campus Summit 2007 in summer 2007.

On December 25, 2007 she married model Umeda Naoki, they have a child, Reon. From 2009 to 2011 she was a model for Popsister Magazine.

In 2011 she made her official debut as a singer with the single "Bunny Days", which reached #12 on the Oricon Charts. After the Earthquake, she launched a Charity Project with fellow model Jun Komori, "We Are The One Project". In a Blog Entry on July, she wrote, that about 160 million yen donations Red Cross reported that a donation through.

In January 2013 she divorced her husband.
